Remember those cheap girls' dates I was talking about back in July?
Yeah… we're actually doing it.
The Hyve is a space for Black women to make new friends, try new things and make a little more room for fun without spending a whole lot of money to do it.
We're talking picnics in the park, nature walks, $7 movie days, craft nights, Airbnb sleepovers, beach trips, random adventures and plenty of ideas we haven't thought of yet.
No pressure to show up to everything. No need to have it all together.
Come when you can. Bring a friend when you want.
Let's make some memories and have some fun. 🤎

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering
Girl, no. Come when you can. The Hyve is supposed to add more fun to your life, not another obligation.
Absolutely. Making new friends is kind of the point. You are completely welcome to show up solo.
Usually, yes! Some experiences may have limited space, so if registration is required, just make sure everyone RSVPs.
There is currently no membership fee to join The Hyve. We intentionally look for free and affordable things to do. Some experiences may have costs for admission, food, supplies, travel, accommodations, or the activity itself. Any cost will be shared upfront before you RSVP.
Nope. You may absolutely meet women you eventually collaborate, create, or do business with, but you don't need a business card or elevator pitch to come hang out.
The Hyve was created primarily as a social community for Black women looking to make new friends, try new things, get out of the house, and enjoy more experiences together.
We're based in Gainesville, Florida, so many of our gatherings happen in Gainesville and the surrounding area. But we're not staying put all the time—we also plan day trips, beach and springs days, and other adventures throughout Florida and beyond.
Join The Hyve and opt in for updates. We'll share upcoming gatherings, activities, registration opportunities, and other Hyve news by email and, if you choose to receive them, text message.
