So.....what are we getting into?
The short answer? A little bit of everything.
The Hyve creates affordable opportunities for Black women to get out of the house, meet new people, try new things and make some memories along the way.
Some plans will be organized. Some might be completely random. Either way, the goal is simple: more reasons to enjoy life together.
Remember those cheap girls' dates I was talking about back in July?
Yeah… we're actually doing it.
The Hyve is a space for Black women to make new friends, try new things and make a little more room for fun without spending a whole lot of money to do it.
We're talking picnics in the park, nature walks, $7 movie days, craft nights, Airbnb sleepovers, beach trips, random adventures and plenty of ideas we haven't thought of yet.
No pressure to show up to everything. No need to have it all together.
Come when you can. Bring a friend when you want.

Girls' Days + Nights
Sometimes we just need somewhere to go.
Movie nights, brunch, game nights, dinners, karaoke, happy hours, Airbnb sleepovers, festivals and whatever else sounds like a good time.
Come by yourself. Bring a friend. Meet somebody new while you're there.
Examples:

Outside + Adventures
A little fresh air never hurt nobody.
Picnics in the park, nature walks, beach days, springs, day trips and those random “girl, what are you doing Saturday?” adventures that somehow become the best memories.
You don't have to be outdoorsy. You just have to be willing to come outside.

Create + Try Something New
We might as well learn something while we're having fun.
Paint something. Cook something. Plant something. Make something. Take a class. Try a hobby you've been curious about.
Some experiences will be led by women inside The Hyve. Others might involve local businesses, artists and community partners.
You don't have to be good at it.
That's why we're trying it.

HYVE Gatherings
Sometimes the activity is just being together.
These are our casual community gatherings designed to make it easy to meet other women inside The Hyve.
Think blankets on the grass, everybody bringing something, music playing, games on the table and conversations happening everywhere.
No agenda. No awkward networking exercises.
Just come hang out. 🤎
